Pinky: What am I doing to save the environment?

I owe this blog post idea from Plinky, a website that offers daily prompts to help people write.

The prompt I will answer today is, "What are you doing to help the environment?"

It's always been a pet peeve of mine when someone leaves the water running while they brush their teeth, leave the light on after they've left an empty room or throw away recyclables. I am helping the environment by turning off the shower when I shave my legs, by sorting and recycling, refilling water bottles and conserving electricity.

I mean, c'mon people! Purchase washing machines that conserve water, turn off your computer or tv at night, don't let the faucet run unnecessarily, recycle your paper and go green!

Dows at night

Dows really comes to life after nightfall. Theater students are pacing the stage, running light cues, and working on costumes. Art students are working on their final pieces for class and seniors are working on their Senior Thesis Exhibitions.
